ABOUT JOSH

Josh Borovsky began fishing for muskies at age seven and won his first fishing tournament at age twelve. His addiction to muskie fishing was strong as a child and has only grown stronger with time. Josh has continued his winning ways on the tournament scene including being crowned a Professional Musky Tournament Trail (PMTT) World Champion and PMTT Top Gun Team of the Year. Josh and his tournament partner Troy Zuelzke, also hold the all-time single season points record in the 20+ history of the professional circuit.

Josh has appeared in over a dozen TV show episodes including the Lindner’s Angling Edge, The Next Bite, We Live Outdoors, Ron Schara’s Minnesota Bound, Angling Buzz TV, and Keyes Outdoors. He has become a mainstay on the Lindner Media fishing education DVD series appearing in the company’s releases Golden Age of Musky Fishing, Modern Musky Magic, and Musky Logic. If you don’t recognize Josh’s face, you just might recognize his voice as he has also frequented the radio air waves with over a dozen interviews most of which aired on major radio stations within the Chicago, Milwaukee, and Minneapolis markets. 

Josh is also an accomplished outdoor writer and speaker. He has been featured in over fifty articles nationwide including many of the world’s most prominent outdoor publications. Josh has also appeared numerous times within the outdoor columns of major metropolitan area newspapers across the Midwest such as The Chicago Sun Times, The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, and the Minneapolis Star Tribune. 

Josh has become a very sought after musky fishing educator and seminar speaker. He has facilitated over 100 seminars across the US and Canada at fishing clubs, retailers, and some of the largest sport show venues in North America. Josh also extends his fishing education to on the water instruction as a muskie guide on Minnesota’s world class musky fisheries. In June of 2019, Josh and Nick Lindner co-founded Musky Insider, a free weekly musky fishing publication delivered to its subscribers by email. Musky Insider quickly grew a massive following exceeding more than 20,000 subscribers by the end of 2020, with continued growth beyond that point.
